Step 2: START TRAINING ASAP

Usually, your login is:
USERNAME: your email address
PASSWORD: 12345
Save 2 hrs for watching the training and finishing the quiz. Once this is done download from the Colorado Notary Solutions a certificate of completion (save it). HERE are some notes from the video (use them to help you out), but you are responsible for paying attention.
Step 3: AFFIRMATION
Download this form and have it notarized. Scan the document and save it to your files (at the end we will have to upload all these documents to the SOS website)
Step 4: TAKE THE TEST
Once you passed the training (which includes a quiz), go to THIS website and REGISTER to take the test. Take the test, it is open book, so feel free to look things up. Use common sense, it's pretty easy.
Step 5: DOWNLOAD CERTIFICATE (test)
Once you finished and passed the SOS test. Download your certificate of passing the test. Gather all the documents together for easy access.
Step 6: IDENTIFICATION
Take a photo (must be low resolution) of your ID. If you have questions about this, HERE info.
Copy of both sides. Make sure that the information on your ID is legible, and that the scan is right-side up.
If you have a Colorado-issued Part 5 ID card or an out-of-state driver’s license that is invalid for the identification or federal purposes, you must also include a copy of your lawful presence documentation as listed in #3.
Step 7: GATHER DOCUMENTS
Make sure you have the following documents:
1. Certificate of Training Completion (from Colorado Notary Solutions) with your name on it. If your name isn't on it, email Ale and Andrew (see step 1)
2. Affirmation Notarized (see step 3)
3. Certificate of the Passed test (from SOS) (see step 5)
4. Photo or scan of your ID (see step 6)
GO TO THIS WEBSITE TO UPLOAD THE DOCUMENTS.
Step 8: WAIT FOR SOS TO CHECK ON DOCS
Once you receive confirmation all is done and approved. You will get an email confirming this, and telling you when YOUR COMMISSION EXPIRES. Email this information to ale@landslidepolitical.com and andrew@coloradonotarysolutions.com (so they can order the stamp). Confirm that the stamp was ordered!
Step 9: GET STAMP + NOTARY JOURNAL = Start!
Make sure you pick a journal and keep the stamp and journal secured. It is yours. If you have questions, please email ale@landslidepolitical.com
