Landslide Political was the chosen field firm to help get Proposition 114 (formerly Initiative #107) on the Colorado ballot in 2020. The goal wasn’t just to have enough signatures. Voter education was also key. Having field staff and volunteers who could speak knowledgeably about the ecological, economic, and social impacts of gray wolf reintroduction was critical for election day. Amid statewide controversy and pushback over the ballot measure, the strategies deployed behind these face-to-

face conversations subsequently led to Prop 114 passing by a narrow margin, making Colorado the first state in the nation to let voters, rather than federal or state wildlife agencies, decide on the reintroduction of an endangered species. The Rocky Mountain Wolf Action Fund turned decades of wolf advocacy and conservation work into a historic win. The reintroduction of gray wolves to the Southern Rocky Mountains began on December 18, 2023 and continues today. Read more about the project here.
