Victory in Utah, Vigilance in America

Eight years ago, Landslide Political (then Grassroots Utah Strategies) partnered with Better Boundaries to achieve what many thought was impossible: Restoring fair voting maps to Utah. Together, we gathered over 144,000 signatures, and voters sent a strong message that Utahns want fair maps. The new maps reflect a victory for voters and democracy. However, this victory stands in stark contrast to the redistricting battles unfolding across the nation today. As we head toward the 2026 elections, we must remain vigilant and fight to ensure that every American can participate in a democracy that is truly representative and free from manipulation. Utah’s success proves that when citizens demand transparency and fairness, the system can be held accountable.
